How to eat well on vacation and juggle during the summer? Between tips, show cooking and tastings we talked about it on Thursday 19 July during the event organized by Oli Olà, a bruschetteria restaurant in Bisceglie, and DaRò Wellnesscuisine.

The focus of the event was the practical advice of Dr. Dalila Roglieri, nutritionist and creator of the DaRò project who, in collaboration with Sergio Frizzale, chef of Oli Olà, gave life to a real "interactive" lesson of correct nutrition that has thrilled (and delighted) the numerous participants.
 


"Most of us, especially in the summer months, have difficulty keeping under control what they actually eat - explained the creator of the DaRò project - so we can help each other thanks to the Half Plate Rule method, that is, by bringing a dish containing two portions of vegetables, one of proteins or complex carbohydrates and one of fruit. This method also allows you to control the hydration of our body thanks to the consumption of fruit and vegetables, foods rich in water and minerals ".


How much should we drink during the warmer months and how can we correct our incorrect hydration habits? A small trick revealed to participants is to drink two glasses of water before main meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and a glass before snacks. "In this way - explained the nutritionist, we can effortlessly reach the quota of 8 glasses of water per day, essential for our physical and mental well-being".
During the holidays the buffets can represent a danger for the control of our food. How can you not give in to too many temptations? Only in this way can we make our conscious choices and not to damage our diet during the holidays. The event was an opportunity to present participants with new summer recipes, nutritionally balanced, designed by DaRò in collaboration with Oli Olà such as beetroot cream and the delicious thousand eggplant leaves, a light appetizer ideal for both summer dinners and , in its essential idea, as lunch under an umbrella.
