The ricotta pie is a valid alternative to the classic American “cheesecake” rich in cream and caloric cheese. The consumption of sweets at the end of a meal is recommended for festive occasions, special dinners or as a starting point for a richer breakfast on the weekend, but it should not be a daily habit because in the long run it could lead to weight accumulation, especially on the waist.
