Between tradition and innovation is the slogan of Taverna Migliore, a restaurant located in the artisan area of ​​Modica, within a finely restored country house, surrounded by a garden and a vegetable garden directly managed by the chef.

Four pillars on which Taverna Migliore rests: in the kitchen the chef Lorenzo Ruta and Mrs. Giorgetta Abbate. In the dining room we find Alice and Valentina Migliore who take care of the management of the cellar and advise guests on gastronomic choices.

The cuisine we offer - says Lorenzo Ruta - is made up of heart, passion, study, technique, instinct, and the excellence of raw materials, selected on the basis of a supply chain as small as possible ".


Initially, Taverna Migliore offered essentially home cooking strongly anchored to the Modican and Sicilian tradition. Starting from here, with the arrival of the chef, the tradition was maintained but at the same time many new dishes with an innovative character were added to the menu, dictated by Lorenzo's unstoppable desire to create and experiment.

News
