Fattoria Fiorentino

There are lands that have a story to tell and the “Fiorentino” farm is one of these.

"Mezzana grande", in the countryside of Lucera, with its approximately four hundred hectares, is one of the two operational headquarters of the Farm: here, in the heart of the Tavoliere delle Puglie, Chiara and Michele lovingly cultivate the land that has been handed down for five generations .

This estate is not only a cultivation of fine wheat but it is a historical treasure chest, a Bourbon farmhouse that has kept cistern wells since 1820, an underground oil mill, a manor chapel, grain pits and a "sentry box". Michele and Chiara take care of the production and know that the land is precious, they nourish it and respect it by growing organic wheat, which will give life to the "Senatore Cappelli" and "Saragolla" ears: in their small agricultural pasta factory they produce a quintal of pasta al day, they wait for their product to have traveled the right path.

Fattoria Fiorentino also offers a rich, tasty and elegant selection of cheeses from both Gargano goat and Podolica cows from herds and flocks reared in a semi-wild state and fed free grazing on perennial and polyphitic meadows, typical of Daunia and Gargano.
